Some of your key responsibilities include:
Manage the coordinated development and implementation of complex customer and digital policy priorities for the Queensland Government. Lead the development of timely and well-researched submissions, briefing notes, presentations, speeches, publications, reports and correspondence on complex issues, including Cabinet Submissions. Represent the Branch, the Division or the Department as required at inter-departmental and inter-governmental meetings. Exercise sound judgement to effectively manage competing priorities and work collaboratively with colleagues, to deliver projects on time and which meet customer's expectations. Lead or participate in project teams, comprising internal and external resources to develop and implement strategic policy and other QGCDG priority initiatives within agreed quality, cost and time parameters. Please note:
On 1 November 2024, the Queensland Government Customer and Digital Group (QGCDG) transitioned from the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) to the newly established Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (DCSODSFB) as part of the recent Machinery-of-Government changes.
As a result, this position will continue to be part of QGCDG but will no longer be part of DTMR. The conditions and entitlements that apply to the new DCSODSFB are still to be determined and may differ to those advertised. Applicants will be advised of employment conditions at the time of shortlisting/interview stage of the process.
