Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 3 of EBA59 day fortnight72.5 hour fortnightHybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.Location: StrathpineJoin City of Moreton Bay as a Community Halls Liaison Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As a key contact for day-to-day operational matters in relation to Council's suite of Community Halls, you will collaborate closely with other members of the community halls team as well as community organisations and volunteers managing Council halls, to support the operations of both Council and community managed halls including liaising with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen Council's community halls network.
Other key responsibilities include:
assisting with hirer enquiriesfacilitating responses to hall related issues e.g.
maintenance requestsactivating community halls based on community needsreviewing and implementing community hall business processes and improvementsassisting with designing and implementing training programs for volunteer hall managersworking closely with community organisations to build sustainable organisational capacityOur ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to identify the needs of internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive customer outcomes.
Bringing experience in the operations of community facilities and working with community organisations, you will have the ability to work closely with community organisations to build sustainable organisational capacity and deliver a range of functions associated with the management and operations of Council's broad suite of community halls.
Additionally, you will have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and assess a range of performance outcomes and improvements.
