The team works to highlight the social and economic benefits to the community from the creation of, and engagement in, high-quality arts experiences, including increased wellbeing and connection. We support these activities through grants and investment programs, research and policy development. This is your opportunity to stretch your skills in partnership development and the provision of innovative and quality advice and initiatives that shape the Aboriginal arts and culture sector for the benefit of Western Australians now and into the future.The Senior Policy and Partnerships Officer, Aboriginal arts and culture will be involved with a variety of projects and engagement activities related to Closing the Gap Outcome 16: "Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and languages are strong, supported and flourishing" as well as other targeted development initiatives for the Aboriginal arts and culture sector in Western Australia. You will collaborate with stakeholders, drive impactful initiatives, and help shape the future of arts policy.We have one 6 months fixed-term, full time (75hrs p/f) position available, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
