Senior Policy Adviser, Stakeholder Engagement Support

Senior Policy and Programs Adviser sought to support defined entities with legislative obligations under the Gender Equality Act 2020 (Vic).
Main Responsibilities: Develop and deliver policy and stakeholder engagement advice to government departments and the Public Sector Gender Equality Commissioner.Develop written guidance, communications, and presentations to inform stakeholders and support organisations to meet their obligations under the Act.Provide high-quality support to stakeholders through effective case management, record management, and systems/administrative processes. About the Department: The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing works to create equal opportunities for all Victorians to live a safe, respected, and valued life. Our areas of focus include child protection, housing, disability, and multicultural affairs, among others.
Requirements: The successful candidate will be a high-performing and proactive self-starter with the ability to build collaborative relationships and networks, communicate effectively in written and verbal formats, and deliver tasks under pressure. Experience in gender equality, particularly within workplace settings, is an advantage.
