The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Platform & Infrastructure Engineer to play as a key technical resource responsible for managing, executing, and supporting a diverse range of technical activities across cloud platforms, network infrastructure, and integration solutions.
This role ensures seamless service delivery, effective collaboration with vendors, and the successful management of technical change processes.

Areas of core responsibility include, but are not limited to: Drive quality outcomes with network, cloud, and platform support partners, participating in monthly management meetings and ensuring effective service delivery to centres, support offices, and team members.
Contribute and where required, lead ongoing service enhancements across platforms, infrastructure, and network operations by fostering communication between childcare centres, support offices, and technical teams.
Support project execution, ensuring smooth transitions to BAU (Business as Usual) support post-completion.
Managing, executing, supporting, and coordinating technical changes across networks, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/M365), and integration services.
Contribute and collaborate on designing scalable, cost-effective solutions and contribute to technical documentation, handover sessions, and operational guidelines for internal teams.
Manage and maintain the ticket queue for the Infrastructure and Platforms team, ensuring efficient response, resolution of requests, and proactive handling of incidents.
Ensure timely escalation and coordination with vendors and internal teams to address service disruptions and incidents effectively.
Focus on improving BAU processes, advocating for best IT practices, and follows and promotes architectural standards.

Proficiency in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS or Azure), network infrastructure (e.g., SD-WAN and firewalls), scripting, and automation.
Strong understanding of architectural practices and ITILv4 principles (change, incident, and request management).
Demonstrable experience in vendor management and collaborating with IT partners.
Ability to scope, design, and implement technical solutions.
Proficiency in documenting technical designs and conducting handover sessions with support teams.
