About the role The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking a skilled Senior Planning Coordinator to manage train scheduling functions within Transperth Train Operations (TTO). In this dynamic role, you will lead the Service Planning section, providing mentorship and training to staff while conducting thorough analysis, generating complex modelling, and producing extensive reports to support business improvements. Your expertise will be key in ensuring optimal resource efficiency, handling day-to-day train scheduling duties, and contributing to the successful delivery of planning-related projects.
As a Senior Planning Coordinator, you will also play a crucial role in investigating business improvement opportunities, monitoring Key Performance Indicators, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and agreements. Your leadership will help drive operational excellence and enhance the efficiency of Perth's urban rail network. About you! Extensive experience in urban passenger transport operations and project management, with a focus on train scheduling and driver rostering.Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, able to work autonomously and collaboratively.Advanced analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities, with expertise in research, analysis, benchmarking, and complex investigations.Proficient in quantitative analysis using contemporary software and highly skilled in Microsoft Office products.You can expect.
