About the Role As a pivotal member of the project management team, the Senior Planner will establish and manage the planning process for one of our prestigious health projects. They will oversee the creation of detailed programs and monitor performance to ensure the delivery of top-quality projects, both on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:Supervise staff undertaking planning and controls activities, exercising functional control over all onsite staff with planning / scheduling responsibilitiesImplement, monitor and record Project Controls strategies, processes, systems, and audits / reviews focusing on time, cost, resources and qualityInterface with project teams and internal and external stakeholders for management of the planning functionAdvise Project Managers in report interpretation analysis of project performance, forward planning and development of corrective actions to maximize project delivery outcomesHighlight any issues that may impact the effective, efficient and professional planning resources and support to the projectProactively lead a planning and controls culture across the projectKey Requirements:Tertiary degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines - Engineering, Construction, Building, Sciences, Architecture or Project Management, or equivalent experienceDemonstrated experience construction, Engineering, Planning and Project ControlsExperience in implementing a planning process and a system of audits and reviewsAbility to contribute to the development and revising strategic direction for projectsDemonstrated application of the principles of planningUse of planning software and tools such as Primavera Project Planning, Earned Value and Cash Flow AnalysisAbility to use software such as 4D Modelling, BIM and other digital engineering packages, Schedule Risk Analysis, Program Forensic Analysis, Time Chainage ChartsAs part of the team, you can help us transform lives.Your success is reflected in ours, so we're committed to being an employer of choice.
