About You Ideally, as a Senior Pipeline Engineer, you will be capable of working with and leading a passionate team of engineers and designers to produce engineering deliverables to Verbrec's and clients' standards. As such you will be required to demonstrate the following on an ongoing basis:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent engineering degreesMinimum of 8 years' experience in the design of Oil & Gas pipelinesProven Australian experience in pipeline design including concept development, FEED and detail design phases. Knowledge of Pipeline Integrity and Operations and Maintenance philosophies will be advantageous.In-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian Standards, acts, regulations and codes related to the pipeline industryEngineers Australia Chartered Engineer or equivalent. Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (current or eligible to attain)Ability to perform engineering tasks with minimal supervisionAbility to manage your time and work independentlyAbout the role On the back of continued growth and project success, our Brisbane office is looking for a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join their team! As a Senior Pipeline Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Providing technical support in the Engineering and Design processes for oil and gas pipelinesDeveloping and supporting FEED and Designs studies including detailed design calculationsDeveloping and supporting the development of scoping documents such as routing studies, construction methodology, design criteria and alignment sheetsParticipating and supporting in Risk assessment & SMS workshopsProactively communicating with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule and budget.Ability to manage and track single-discipline projectsPreparing and supporting cost estimates, equipment summaries and tender packages.Writing technical reports as requiredThe Verbrec brand represents our evolution and continued growth by leveraging emerging techniques and technologies for the benefit of our clients.
