Senior Physiotherapist and Casual Physiotherapists Permanent part-time position working Monday to Friday as well as being on the weekend roster - Enjoy flexible hours for better work life balance!Casual Physiotherapists required for weekend shifts and occasional week day leave cover.About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Senior Physiotherapist with a positive attitude to join our team. This opportunity will see you working alongside a dedicated allied health and clinical team that provides a variety of rehabilitation programs in an in-patient setting. You will also be responsible for coordinating and delivering the post orthopaedic surgery follow up as needed.
In addition, the casemix provides the opportunity to develop your assessment and treatment skills within the Medical and Palliative Care specialty areas.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, providing therapy in both individual and group settings whilst developing appropriate discharge plans within a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for the clinical support and leadership of the Physiotherapy team, with the support of the Allied Health Manager.
You will also assist with coordinating Physiotherapy student placements at Glengarry Hospital. About You You will be an experienced Physiotherapist, with experience obtained in an acute hospital or rehabilitation setting. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build rapport and deliver a high standard of customer-focused service in line with our Ramsay core values. Your proven leadership skills and experience will demonstrate the ability to manage conflicting priorities and workloads both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, as you provide clinical leadership to the physiotherapists and allied health assistants.
You will also demonstrate: Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent with AHPRA registration.The ability to apply clinical reasoning, sound judgement and complex decision making at an advanced level of practice.The ability to devise and evaluate evidence based practice within assessment and treatment protocols.Experience providing clinical education and supervision to junior staff members, Allied Health Assistants and/or students.Previous experience working in an acute or rehabilitation hospital setting.Well-developed organisational and time management skills.Flexible and positive approach to work.Remuneration: Salary commensurate with experience
