In this pivotal role, you will provide a comprehensive range of high-level pharmacy services, exercising independent and autonomous judgement. You will offer expert therapeutic advice to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other health professionals, ensuring alignment with hospital policies, procedures, and professional pharmacy standards.
Your expertise will optimise patient outcomes by implementing strategies that promote the safe and cost-effective use of pharmaceuticals. As a Senior Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of care through evidence-based practice, ensuring the highest standards of pharmacy service delivery. Educational/Vocational Qualifications Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalentRegistered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of AustraliaTo Be Successful: Extensive hospital pharmacy experience, with leadership and supervisory skills.Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.Excellent communication skills, and experience in providing training and mentorship to staff.About us Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is a unique public healthcare organisation that serves health consumers and provides specialist clinical services to the health system in South Australia.
