Continuing full time appointmentSalary - $102,831 – $126,324 pa + 17% superannuation Relocation Available and 6 weeks annual leave Casuarina Campus, NTProvide hands-on solutions-focused HR support to identify and promote new ways of working and empowering approaches to people management.About the PositionAs a Senior People Partner, you will be responsible for a large portfolio of clients in a broad range of disciplines. You will be the first point of contact for all Human Resources queries including workplace conduct and performance management, and execution of HR strategies and initiatives and overseeing the People Partners.This role also partners with business leaders to identify workforce trends and make recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the employee experience. This role will work closely with People Operations and Employee Relations to drive key initiatives and projects in business areas.This role is being offered as a Level 8 or 9 depending on the skills and experience of the suitable candidate. Eligible candidates under the Public Employment (Mobility) Act 1989 can transfer leave entitlements to CDU.About YouTo be successful, you will require:Extensive experience in providing strategic human resource management advice at a senior level, along with a well-developed capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with complex and competing priorities.Leadership capability, experience and demonstrated capacity to coach others, especially senior executives through times of change while at the same time providing clarity and HR support.Extensive experience managing complaints, complex workplace conduct, performance management, change management and other disciplinary procedures.Sound generalist knowledge across the range of HR practice including recruitment and selection, relocation, remuneration and benefits, performance management, employee relations, organisational development, work, health and safety, and equity and diversity.Proven ability to use metrics and workforce management to drive impact.High level analytic and problem-solving skills, the capacity to successfully deliver high-quality outcomes and meet deadlines.Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources (or related discipline) and extensive relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.This position is subject to Charles Darwin University Affirmative Action Priority Recruitment measures, in accordance with s57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 (NT) 1992.First Nations applicants are strongly encouraged to apply & will be granted priority consideration for this vacancy.For information on Affirmative Action Priority Recruitment at CDU and how to apply, please visit this link.RemunerationAppointment to this role will be at Professional 8/9 Salary. The base salary will be in the range of $102,831 - $126,324 per annum.
