Working with People & Culture Business Partners at all levels and across all business units and reporting to the Employee Advisory Manager, the People & Culture Business Partner provides operational advice and support to management teams to ensure managers are able to effectively manage their people while achieving change and business outcomes.
In addition to this and, working with the rest of the People & Culture function, this role will focus on supporting the Strategic Business Partners to implement strategies and programs to create a working environment that attracts, develops, and retains top talent, while the administrative and transactional People & Culture work is performed by the People Services Team in the People Experience Centre of Excellence.
What you'll do Investigations: Conduct investigations into workplace behaviour issues relating to absence and performance management matters where the matter is straightforward. Return to Work: Work with managers, coordinate the return to work for employees with straightforward non-work-related injuries, including supporting managers to find suitable alternate work Advisory: Work with the People & Culture Centres of Excellence, lead the review and analysis of TGE People & Culture policies and practices to ensure they continue to support TGE's business needs. Change Management: Support the Strategic Business Partners to deliver meaningful change in a consistent way across all business units within their geographical remit. People & Culture Programs and Projects: Provide assistance to Strategic Business Partners / Executive Business Partners in the implementation of strategic People & Culture programs and projects Commitment to Employee Experience: Responsibe for delivering high quality employee experience focused services through understanding manager and employee perspectives and ensuring responsiveness to their needs. What you'll bring Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or Organisational Development. Minimum 3+ years in a People & Culture Business Partner role, ideally within the Industrial sector. Developed ability to anticipate, identify and address issues and potential problems and select the most effective solutions from a range of options. Proven track record in effectively investigating and resolving behaviour issues in the workplace, including supporting managers to implement any outcomes. Experience in managing return to work matters / injury management. Experience in delivering successful change management interventions including effective learning and development and communications solutions An inclusive workplace, works for everyone
