The opportunity We are on the lookout for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our dynamic People & Culture team, reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, based in Richmond VIC. This role works within a high-volume and fast-paced payroll division and ensures the timely and accurate payment of employee wages.
In this role, you will be the right-hand to the Payroll Manager, handling complex pay queries and escalations, running month-end processes including Super and Payroll Tax, and running end-to-end payroll processing: collect and verify employee data, compute wages, ensure employees receive correct payment in alignment with company policies, relevant industry regulations, tax and deduction laws.
To achieve this, you:
Support end-to-end payroll processes throughout the employment lifecycleEfficiently process payroll runs, including STP & PAYG duties and managing leave requirementsUpdate data with salary or wage adjustments, process other financial compensations or deductionsHandle benefit expenses, paid and unpaid leaveEnsure all queries are resolved and monitor all incoming mailAnswer payroll queries via phone and emailLiaise with key internal and external stakeholders.The skills and experience you offer us Minimum five years' experience in end-to-end PayrollIntermediate to advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office toolsGreat attention to detailExperience with using Dayforce or similar payroll systemAbility to maintain confidentiality and contribute positively to the team experience is a mustExperience working with Retail, Hospitality or FMCG Awards (desirable).Just some of the perks we offer you Generous discounts for you and your family across Brand Collective's stable of brands!
