This role offers the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team where the Payroll Officer will oversee the entire payroll function.The RoleProcessing end to end Payroll for 400 + employees in a timely and efficient mannerCalculation, documentation, processing and communication of payroll and associated statutory payments (PAYG, Payroll Tax & Super)Dealing with payroll related queries and responding in a timely and friendly mannerUpdating and maintenance of payroll records in accordance with legislative and statutory requirementsProcessing new employee contracts and terminationsEnd of month duties, journal entries and reconciliationsEnsure compliance and correct interpretation of relevant industrial instruments including Modern awards, National Employment Standards, superannuation, and tax legislation.Query investigation, escalation of issues and working collaboratively to effectively problem solveContinuous improvement of processes and proceduresAssist with other duties as required by the Finance TeamAbout YouProven end to end payroll experienceExperience processing larger pay runs (150 + staff or higher)A thorough knowledge of and experience in the application of payroll and personnel legislation, including the interpretation of Awards / AgreementsStrong communication skills - written and verbalIntermediate Microsoft Excel knowledgeStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to always maintain confidentiality on informationDriven and self-motivatedIn ReturnGreat team culture and supportive environmentPermanent, full-time roleCBD location, convenient to public transportWork from home opportunities available, 3 days in the office, 2 days at homeCompetitive salaryTo ApplyIf you are interested in the position available, please apply by submitting your CV using the relevant link.
