We are currently seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to join our dedicated Payroll Team on a 9–12-month maximum term contract. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely payment for our healthcare professionals. Exceptional customer service is at the heart of what we do—you'll excel in resolving challenges over the phone, providing a seamless experience for both candidates and clients.
Your Role
As our Senior Payroll Officer, you will bring your expertise in payroll and award interpretation to support our Payroll Manager. Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring the payroll inbox and promptly responding to candidate queries. Facilitating accurate onboarding of candidates, ensuring precise placement and rate details. Managing end-to-end payroll processing. Interpreting multiple awards and calculating relevant penalties. Manually entering timesheets when necessary. Verifying timesheets for additional duties. Handling candidate and client inquiries via phone. Processing expense reimbursements and accounts payable invoices. About You
