Senior Payroll Officer

About our client:
Randstad are proud to be partnering with our client who are a growing services provider in a unique industry sector. Reporting into the Payroll Team Leader you will join a team of 9 and be responsible for your own payroll with roughly 600 employees processing the pays on a weekly basis.

About the role:
Reporting into the Payroll Team Leader and working as part of a team, your duties will include:
Updating and maintaining of employee records
Processing terminations, redundancies and leave
Award interpretation
Handle inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues
Assist the Payroll Team Leader with ensuring daily payroll operations are rolled out smoothly and with delegating responsibilities among the team
Lead the delivery and execution of critical payroll activities including processing payruns, reconciliations, maintaining data and regular / year-end reporting
Providing a high level of customer service while assisting employees with their queries

About you:
5+ years of end-to-end payroll processing
A team player with excellent communication skills and a customer centric approach to your work
Full and unlimited Australian working rights
