Senior Pastry Chef Or Baker For A Head Chef

Chouquette New Farm is a well-established bakery offering high quality Traditional French Bakery products (Boulangerie Patisserie)

We are looking for a senior pastry chef or baker who can bring their ideas, enthusiasm and pride to our bakery and work with the team in a fruitful way. Someone with a can do attitude in a growing bakery business.
This position will lead up to a Head Chef position.
Qualifications & experience
Passion for pastry operations and a true desire to deliver exceptional guest experience. Be results orientated with a dedication to exceed customer expectations. Previous experience in a similar environment is highly desirable. Trade qualifications as pastrycook is a must. Technical knowledge with experience in pastry techniques and styles, with ability to maintain high and consistent standards High organizational skills & grooming standards Flexibility to work rotating roster including morning or evenings 4 years minimum experience French qualification and background is optional Sponsorship can be provided if meeting all the KPI Tasks & responsibilities
Have knowledge in preparing, baking and finishing pastry products such as individual cakes, croissants and tarts Have experience in mixing dough & laminating Have great attention to detail Have excellent time management and communication skills Be flexible with start and finish times and able to work weekends when needed.
