Details: Harrison School is seeking a Business Manager to join our leadership team. The Business Manager plays a pivotal role within the school community and the school improvement agenda, ensuring a safe and positive environment where students thrive. This role supports the principal and collaborates as part of the senior leadership team and school community to enhance student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to support the school's goals. Overseeing budgeting, financial planning, and facilities management. Managing HR functions, including staff development and performance management. Fostering effective communication and engagement with stakeholders. Handling procurement processes and contract management. Ensuring adherence to legislative requirements while managing risks. Providing strategic advice to the principal. Leading both day-to-day and strategic operations. Driving continuous service improvement. Managing support and administration staff to achieve business objectives. Setting priorities, monitoring workflow, and developing school-based procedures. Given the dynamic nature of educational settings, the successful candidate must excel in prioritization and workflow monitoring in line with Directorate policies and procedures. Mandatory Requirement: Asbestos Awareness Training is a mandatory requirement of this role.
