Details: ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, career-oriented person to fill the role of Senior Director, Reintegration Pathways (SOGA).
The Senior Director, Reintegration Pathways, will have a key focus on establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships across ACTCS with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure the effective design and delivery of key master plan objectives.
This role will develop an integrated strategic planning approach that maintains the vision for ACTCS as a leading provider of reintegration pathways, opportunities and services that builds upon the work being undertaken in the Integrated Offender Management (IOM) project. The Reintegration Precinct has a core function of maximising opportunities for structured day activities in order to increase release readiness through skill building and education.
In order to best prepare ACTCS for this future expansion, education, industries and programs need to be strategically prioritised and developed in order to maximise opportunities for structured day activities within the Alexander Maconochie Centre and into community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing a reintegration pathway that will promote best practice rehabilitation opportunities for incarcerated detainees and deliver a clear and evidence-based pathway to successful reintegration into community.
To be successful, you will possess exceptional interpersonal, organisational and communication skills necessary to build rapport and work collaboratively and respectfully with a diverse range of stakeholders, in addition to demonstrated experience in project management.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal record check.Relevant tertiary qualifications and / or equivalent work experience in the criminal justice system is highly desirable.Current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Check) Act 2011 is required.Note: This is a temporary position for a period of six months.
