Senior Director, Procurement Policy and Capability Branch
Full-time Temporary with a Possibility of PermanencyDetails: Procurement ACT is seeking a Senior Director who will be able to work across either, or both the Procurement Policy or Capability and Governance. As a Senior Director you will lead a small team working across the Branch as required. The Senior Director will report to the Executive Branch Manager, Procurement Policy and Capability.
The Procurement Policy capability shapes the development and implementation of effective and practical procurement legislation, policies, procedures, and advice that can be readily applied to procurement activities. This capability has a focus of high priority policy initiatives to achieve social, ethical, and environmental outcomes through procurement.
The Procurement Capability and Governance capability leads ProcurementACT in building our brand, focusing on uplifting procurement capability across ACT Government. Developing and delivering a program of relevant communication and engagement to enhance awareness of the Procurement Framework while leading the design and delivery of procurement learning and development initiatives. This capability also delivers the governance support for Boards and Committees including Government Procurement Board and the Procurement Community of Practice.
