Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contracts Manager with a strong background in tender submissions. This role is pivotal in securing new business by managing the entire tender process, from identifying opportunities to submitting high-quality bids. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in preparing successful tender applications in the construction industry, excellent project management skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities: Tender Management: Lead and manage the preparation, compilation, and submission of high-quality tender applications in line with company standards and client requirements. Contract Negotiation: Review and negotiate contract terms, ensuring they align with company objectives and compliance standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to gather necessary information for tender submissions. Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate risks associated with tenders and contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all tender documentation and correspondence, ensuring all deadlines are met. Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and success rate of tender submissions. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in contract management, specifically in tender submissions within the construction or modular building industry. Strong understanding of contract law and relevant regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely. Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously. High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
