What is the objective of this role? As Defence Account Director , you will be primarily responsible for the strategic direction, oversight and management of Holocentric's Department of Defence Account. You will lead Holocentric's engagement with the Australian Department of Defence, providing strategic advice with respect to enterprise business performance improvement. This role offers the opportunity to set and drive strategy and plans for the Account and lead a dedicated team spanning Account Management, Professional Services, Customer Care, Technical Solutions Development and Technical Support.
Based in Canberra, you will engage with the Holocentric SLT and Omegro Leadership to build and develop networks across our clients and partners and to identify and prioritise prospective business opportunities.
What you'll do in this role You will be responsible for:
Development and implementation of the strategy and plans for the Defence Business Account; Managing and leading the Holocentric Defence team to meet its objectives; Provision of strategic advice with respect to enterprise business performance improvement including business capability and process optimisation and the introduction and adoption of enabling technologies, such as Holocentric, Robotic Process Automation, Process Mining, BI and AI; Driving delivery of Holocentric services to support strong business outcomes for the Defence client; Ensuring Omegro global and portfolio strategic objectives are driven through their business line; Ensuring business risk management is undertaken across their business; People management, including developing capability and talent within the team; Driving the culture across their business line ensuring alignment to their broader Group and Portfolio. Our ideal candidate will have: Experience in management consulting, provision of strategic advice and/or leadership of complex program delivery to senior executives within Federal Government; Strong passion and experience in developing and maintaining strong client engagement and client service delivery; Passion and experience in strategy development including from prior roles in business strategy, IT strategy or consulting; Knowledge in the domain of business performance improvement including key concepts such as business capability and process optimisation and associated technologies; Demonstrable people leadership skills including but not limited to inspiring and motivating teams, creating accountability, building engagement and collaboration, and fostering professional development and learning; Baseline or NV1 clearance.
