Our goal is to contribute to the future capability and performance of the Department of Education.About the RoleWe are a newly formed dynamic and motivated team seeking another high-performing individual who has a can-do attitude and is excited to be on the journey of building a new function.This role contributes to the successful delivery of a range of organisational development (OD) programs, including key OD projects led by the unit such as implementation of the Performance Development Program, driving a forward-facing performance conversation culture, onboarding/offboarding, EVP, People Matter Survey, Recognition, Cultural initiatives, and VPS values.In addition, the role is responsible for providing support to people managers across corporate areas of the department to ensure high-quality, practical, and effective OD approaches are understood and incorporated into business-as-usual practices.The role requires a strong people leader and team player with exceptional skills in collaboration and relationship building, motivated by driving positive change within an organisation and gaining a sense of achievement from successfully seeing a project through to completion.CapabilitiesThe successful candidate is results-oriented, excellent at communicating and building partnerships across organisational areas, has sound written and verbal communication skills, and possesses practical statistical, data analysis, and evaluation skills.
