We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our CALHN Occupational Therapy team. Our Occupational Therapy service provides therapy to the Emergency Department, Acute Medical / Short Stay Unit; Stroke & Neurological, Neurosurgical & Neuro Trauma; General Medical; Geriatrics; Orthopaedics; Surgical Trauma; Complex Multi-Trauma; Plastics & Hand Therapy; Spinal, Cancer & Palliative Care; Respiratory & Cardiac; Renal; Geriatrics, NDIS complex clients, Burns and Vascular services.
There are positions within our acute and subacute streams with opportunities to move into other clinical areas, services, or sites as part of your professional development and interest.
Key Responsibilities Provide high-level professional judgement, clinical reasoning, and skills to the clinical management of patients with significant levels of complexity.Work with a broad and diverse range of multi-disciplinary health professionals within the largest health system in South Australia.Provide clinical leadership, education, coordination, and support for patients, staff, and agencies.Join us in providing excellence in care throughout the patient's health journey. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise and autonomy in decision-making, contributing significantly to our mission of enhancing patient outcomes. This will suit an Occupational Therapist with at least five years' experience and will build your career and professional development in this field.
Qualifications An appropriate Degree or equivalent which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (OTBA) and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).About CALHN The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct.
