As part of a multidisciplinary team, this role will deliver high-quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements, and relevant professional competencies.Adult Community Mental Health Services North (AMHSN) is looking to add to our positive leadership group by appointing a positive, vibrant, and grounded Senior Occupational Therapist (Senior OT) for our Northern Team. The Senior OT will support the ACMHS North Team Leader and Clinical Lead to develop and promote positive work culture throughout our community and inpatient services. The role is responsible for the quality of clinical OT services in AMHSN and is expected to take the lead in OT ongoing service development, intersectoral liaison, be responsible for the operation of OT services within ACMHS, and contribute to strategic planning, policy review and development, and evaluation of OT services. Clinically, the role provides specialist OT assessment, treatment, and case management utilising evidence-based, best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
