In this position, you will be responsible for creating robust network environments using Cisco technologies, Fortinet, firewalls, and other tools. You will design, implement and maintain secure and scalable network solutions while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
This role has both project and operations support work. Your responsibilities will include:
Design & Build: Develop detailed network designs and architectures for Cisco ISE, Cisco switches, Cisco WLAN, and Fortinet firewalls. Implementation: Oversee the deployment and configuration of network infrastructure components. Testing: Create and execute test plans to validate network designs and configurations. Documentation: Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation, including as-built designs and network diagrams. Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align network designs with business objectives. Oversee day-to-day operations of large data center networks, prioritizing performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and enhancements. Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and processes. Working Conditions • Based in Perth
What will make you successful in this role? Experience with: 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies and Fortinet solutions. Expertise in Cisco ISE, Cisco switches/Routers, Cisco WLAN, Fortinet firewalls, and FortiEMS. Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security best practices. Proven experience in creating network designs, as-built documentation, and test plans. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
