I am currently recruiting for a Statutory Body with a large IT presence who are looking for a Senior Network & Security Administrator.
About the Role
As a Senior Network and Security Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of their IT network across both on-prem and cloud environments. This role will provide an opportunity an to work on technical projects in both production and development, allowing you to apply your expertise in network and security. You will also play a key role in cloud migration projects, with support and training provided to help shift from traditional infrastructure to cloud-based solutions. You will take ownership of critical infrastructure projects, helping to shape their systems at a senior level, all while fostering collaboration, trust, and teamwork.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure to ensure reliability and adherence to industry standards.Performing network maintenance, optimizing performance, troubleshooting, and maintaining security policies.Conducting regular security assessments, monitoring traffic, and responding to security incidents.Collaborating with team members, documenting system configurations, and supporting both infrastructure and security projects.
About You:
Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure within government or similarly scaled organizations, particularly with change management and ITIL frameworks.Strong background in network administration and security, with a minimum of five years of experience in cloud environments (preferably AWS).Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or CEH, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex network and security systems.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and influence stakeholders in decision-making.Eligible to pass a Police Check Benefits Hybrid WFHCentral Location - Close to public transportInclusive Employee programsWork for a company that provides a good cause for the communityCasual FridaysCollaborative CultureSocial Clubs
