Are you an experienced modeller with a passion for driving innovative transportation solutions? There is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Modeller to join the Transport Analysis Unit on a permanent basis.

In the role of Senior Modeller, you will bring your extensive expertise to the table, driving the development of advanced transportation solutions focused on transport accessibility and public transport. You will be proficient in various analytics and modelling tools and have experience in managing and delivering projects. Your ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of customer-focused outcomes.
Some of your responsibilities will include: Leading the development and maintenance of TMR's public transport and accessibility modelling and analysis tools.Managing projects including developing procurement and contract documentation, assessing tenders and supervising consultants and contractors.Generating and interpreting model results and providing expert advice on major strategic projects on behalf of TMR's Policy, Planning, and Investment Division.To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following: Expertise in transport modeling, data science, transport planning, or other relevant field, with a strong focus on continuous learning and growth.Proficiency in utilising one or more of the following:Transport modelling software (e.g., EMME, AIMSUN)Geographic Information Systems (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)ETL software (e.g. Alteryx, Jupyter Notebooks)BI / Visualization software (e.g. Tableau, KNIME, PowerBI)Programming languages (e.g. Python)Cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in executing projects that meet cost, time, and quality expectations.Skill in building and sustaining relationships for collaborative customer-focused results, utilising cooperation for optimal outcomes.Additional Benefits this role offers: Work and Life balance, including 'flex time' and flexible work arrangements and a working from home option.Beautiful City location close to the Brisbane Botanical Gardens with just over a 10 minute walk from Central Station.Work with a supportive team, with a high level of training and development invested in each staff member.Generous leave and superannuation.Joining the Transport Analysis unit will give you a down-to-earth working environment with a highly skilled and collaborative team, along with competitive remuneration, training and benefits.
