Since 2009, located southwest of Townsville, the Pajingo mine is around 50km from Charters Towers and currently employs around 250 people to run the underground mining, open cut, and ore processing operations.

Pajingo Gold Mine is seeking a Senior Mine Engineer on a 12/9 Roster based out of Charters Towers.
DIDO/FIFO options available with meals and accommodation provided.
About the role: Develop short to mid-term mine plans (daily, weekly, monthly, and annual) and coordinate in the implementation of these plans.Ensure the deliverance in a timely manner of site drilling and blast designs and plans.Ensure timely and accurate preparation of blast masters.Ensure timely and accurate preparation of blast stock and stockpile capacity.Present the weekly plan to the Superintendents and review/analyze the previous plan with them.Design drill patterns following the drill design standards.Prepare weekly reports and graphs to be presented in weekly plan review meetings.About you: Tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering or equivalent relevant subject.Proficient in the use of Microsoft software and Deswik.Technical skills in specialized mine planning, scheduling, and blasting software.At least 6 years of experience in the mining industry with at least 4 years of mine planning experience.Understanding of statutory requirements.This role offers a rare chance to join a significant emerging mid-tier gold mining company with a history of growth and expansion, with a vibrant culture where your skills can truly make a difference.
