This position is located in: Belconnen
As a Senior Mentor, you will attract, engage, and mentor a caseload of parents and carers with young children, guiding them through our Parent Pathways pre-employment program.
You will also coach a small team to ensure the effective delivery of the program, helping participants set and achieve their personal and vocational goals.
We embrace the benefits of lived experience in this type of program, so we encourage applications from people with lived experience – particularly, experience working with children.
Prior experience in similar roles, embodying empathy, resilience, and non-judgment will be advantageous but not a requirement.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, a bright personality, knowledgeable about the local area, and highly organized.
This position requires applicants to possess a minimum of Diploma level qualification in a relevant field and a current driver's license.
You can expect to spend some time on the road delivering services in Belconnen and across the Capital and surrounding region.
