The Senior Mental Health Nurse is a leadership role responsible for ongoing development of the mental health nursing workforce (including education) and maintenance of mental health nurse standards.
We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity:
Current registration with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse. Post graduate qualifications in mental health nursing, with at least 5 years' experience in mental health nurse practice. Demonstrated ability to provide Mental Health Nursing Leadership in a large clinical mental health service. Demonstrated understanding of the National Practice Standards for the Mental Health Workforce and National Standards for Mental Health. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the provision of contemporary training and professional development strategies and packages including experience in the provision of clinical supervision.
