Salary Information: Salary Information provided is based on a full-time position. Part-time positions will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive expertise and services as required by West Moreton Health Service in the area of Medical Imaging. Medical Imaging supports the treatment of inpatients and outpatients within Ipswich Hospital and supports Rural Hospitals and Prison Health within West Moreton. Medical Imaging provides a range of modalities including CT, MRI, OPG, Ultrasound, Mammography, General X-ray and Fluoroscopy. There is a strong demand for interventional procedures.
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Ability to lead and manage the delivery of patient care in the area of Medical Imaging.Ability to manage complex clinical situations, ideally within a tertiary level teaching facility.Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively use problem solving, change management and conflict resolution frameworks.Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, patients and their carers.Ability to facilitate a learning environment by sharing knowledge and expertise, participating in teaching and research activities.Possession of a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a registered tertiary institution.Possession of a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (or equivalent).Current registration (or be eligible for registration) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to practice as a Specialist in Radiology.About West Moreton Health: West Moreton Health is one of the most rapidly evolving health services in the south east corner, with a community growth expected to almost double to more than 588,000 by 2036.
