Hospital comprises Emergency Department, General Medical Surgical ward, Maternity Unit & Operating Theatre. There is on-site pathology, general x-ray, CT scanner these diagnostic services are available 5 days per week and after hours on-call to support the clinical departments.

A Northern NSW hospital requires Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine for the following date(s).
Shift(s) details as below:
from 30/12/2024 07:00 to 05/01/2025 19:00 at $2750 per day
Experienced GP ED VMOs to provide exceptional care in this vibrant rural community. With a 28-bed inpatient unit that includes Obstetrics, a busy Emergency Department managing 12-25 presentations daily, and an Operating Theatre, you'll enjoy a diverse and rewarding clinical experience. Shifts run for 12 hours, either 0700-1900 or 1900-0700, depending on GP availability (Supported by the local GP when available) and whether the theatre is in use. Locums are also required to be available for second on-call during the opposite 12-hour shift, but this will only apply if critically needed. Emergency surgical assistance may also be required. On-call is included in the flat rate, with no additional payments.
