What your day will look like…. Your day will be dynamic and fulfilling, starting with engaging in patient consultations, where you'll take the time to listen to their stories and assess their health needs. You'll lead multidisciplinary meetings, fostering collaboration among medical staff and midwives, and shaping a culture of teamwork and support. Throughout the day, you'll move seamlessly between the outpatient clinic and inpatient care, providing quality services that include antenatal assessments and surgical procedures. You'll also mentor junior staff and contribute to educational sessions, sharing your expertise and fostering their growth. As you interact with patients and colleagues, your commitment to compassionate care and continuous improvement will shine, reinforcing your role as a leader in our healthcare community. Your contributions will not only enhance patient outcomes but also elevate the standard of care across our rural facilities.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up from $297,448 (L13) up to $485,592 (L27) comprising salary rates between $87.25 (L13) and $127.77 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value. Offers of part time will be considered for 40 hours per fortnight.
