About the role The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the engineering component of New Product Development projects, supporting the Head of Mechanical Engineering, the project team, NPD Designers, Quality Department, and NPD Commercial, in delivering innovative and high-quality engineering solutions and services to meet the timing, product specifications, and commercial objectives of the NPD program.

Key responsibilities include: Responsible for the Engineering delivery of innovative and quality products, including concept design, development, CAD, simulation, prototype build, testing, validation, compliance, manufacturing, and launch support. Supporting the Mechanical Engineering Domain, Project team, Designers, and Quality Engineers in the delivery of innovative and quality products. Developing Engineering solutions and services to meet the timing, product specification, and the commercial objectives of the NPD program. Prepare and submit products to UL, IEC, and EMC Compliance laboratories in line with project plans. Lead and coach Junior Engineers. We're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have: Engineering Degree or similar. Strong experience in Product Design Engineering, ideally within small appliances or electrical products. Strong experience in Manufacturing, Materials, Testing, and Production. Able to Lead and coach junior engineers. Hands-on experience in Product Engineering design, component detailing, drafting/engineering drawing, 3D CAD modelling, CAE, and Simulation. What we offer you: Competitive compensation package.
