Key responsibilities include managing social media campaigns, optimising online presence, executing promotions and planning events to effectively drive sales. The specialist will use market research to identify customer preferences and trends, ensuring the motel remains competitive in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate has experience in sales and marketing and a natural flair for creativity and innovation.Duties and Responsibilities:Implement tailored marketing plans to drive occupancy, promote special offers, and enhance brand visibility.Oversee the motel's website, social media platforms, and listings to enhance online presence and engagement.Content creation and collaborating with agencies to produce diverse content such as flyers, newsletters, and videos.Conduct market research to analyse market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to adjust marketing strategies.Mobilise diverse demand generation strategies with effective planning of events, marketing campaigns and promotion through email.Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners while ensuring brand consistency across all communications.Plan and execute promotions, special events, and seasonal offers aimed at attracting new guests and encouraging repeat business.Establish partnerships with local establishments including restaurants and event organisers to create packages and cross-promotions.Formulate, monitor and manage the marketing budget, ensuring all initiatives are cost-effective and within allocated resources.Ensure all marketing activities comply with local regulations, branding guidelines, and industry best practices.Skills and Experience:A Bachelor's Degree in any stream along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in market research, customer engagement, sales, and marketing.Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media management, email marketing, and online advertising platforms.Proficiency in designing marketing materials and creating engaging content for social media, websites, and promotional campaigns.Ability to analyse marketing performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimise campaigns and improve ROI.A creative thinker with the ability to develop unique promotional ideas and marketing concepts to stand out in a competitive market.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with customers online and in person.Previous experience in the hospitality industry or similar service-oriented business preferably in a sales and marketing role.Having work rights in Australia, a valid Victorian Driving License, and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
