How you'll make an impact:
As a Senior Marketing Manager for Australia and New Zealand, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, growth, product utilisation, customer engagement and advocacy within the Small Business segment. Reporting directly to the Head of Brand & Small Business Marketing, you will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing campaigns, working cross-functionally to engage key channel leads, and analysing campaign performance. This position requires a deep understanding of the Small Business market and the ability to become a customer expert in order to effectively meet the needs of our target audience.
What you'll do:
Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned to operating priorities, commercial targets and GTM initiatives
Own the development and management of our supporting campaign strategy, roadmap and advertising investment
Plan, negotiate and secure media schedules, allowing time for creative, approvals and effective setting and management of targets
Own the media agency relationship and regularly communicate and showcase insights and opportunities back into the business
Identify and evaluate relevant sponsorship opportunities that align with our small business market and brand objectives
Create a matrix to evaluate incoming and existing sponsorship opportunities as well as manage sponsorship relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee activation plans to maximise brand exposure and engagement
Develop and surface an in-depth understanding of the customer and competitive landscape. Specifically, curate and track audience and customer insights from multiple sources and track competitive SoV and activity that may affect and impact our planning
Work closely with external media, creative and influencer agencies to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns
Provide direction, feedback, and guidance to agency partners to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
Monitor and report on campaign lead indicators and key success metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis across the full SmB funnel
Provide regular reports and analysis to stakeholders, including senior leadership, highlighting campaign performance, market trends, and recommendations for improvement
What you'll bring with you:
10 years of marketing expertise
Demonstrated expertise in crafting and executing brand strategy, including positioning and messaging
Hands-on experience with brand and campaign management, collaborating with creative and media agencies for effective outcomes
Proven success in Go-to-Market roles directly influencing commercial outcomes
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced tech business environment
Proficient in analysing program results, market research, and competitor data to offer strategic recommendations
Strong rapport-building and trust-building with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities
