About the RoleThe Senior Manager, Transition is a critical role for the Transformation Program, leading the development and execution of a comprehensive digital transition plan for TZV's critical infrastructure and platforms, ensuring the developed system transitions into service.
The role is integral in ensuring the organisation's critical infrastructure and platforms are modernised and transitioned seamlessly into operation to deliver enhanced efficiency, reliability, and responsiveness in the provision of emergency services.
Reporting to the Program Manager, Transformation Program, this role is focused on leading and directing cross functional teams drawn from different technical, operational, change management and project management streams.
Additional day to day responsibilities include:
Planning, execution, and oversight of all transition activities associated with the program and transformation projects, ensuring timely and within-budget deliveryCoordinate with cross functional work streams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and systemsLeveraging the TZV risk management framework, identify potential risks and develop executive level mitigation strategies to ensure successful transitionEnsure the alignment of technical go-live and training, change management and people initiatives to support the transition process and ensure no disruption to the service. About YouYou demonstrate considerable experience as a leader in large-scale digital transformation or IT project management, within an emergency services organisation, focused on critical infrastructure, telephony, and CAD systems.
You will also demonstrate:
Experience in managing all aspects of technical and business transition into service, including pre and post transition activities and checkpoints, and coordination and management which delivers business continuity across technology and operational services throughout.Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation and strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.Your skills and experience will be enhanced by your ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities and your high level of integrity and commitment to public service.
