About the opportunity
About the Role:  As the Senior Manager, Senior Talent Acquisition, you will lead a team of senior talent professionals dedicated to delivering high-impact recruitment solutions for the most senior appointments at our University. Working closely with the Recruitment leadership team, you will ensure a contemporary and strategic approach to our talent acquisition efforts, aligning them with the University's objectives.
Since its establishment in late 2020, the Senior Talent Acquisition function has supported a range of diverse senior academic and professional appointments at a pivotal time as the University developed its strategy and underwent a balanced leadership transition across executive and other senior roles. The Senior Talent Acquisition Team is also home to an outstanding Immigration and Global Mobility Team and our in-house sourcing function, further enhancing our capability to attract and support top-tier talent globally.

Your key responsibilities will be:
Strategic Recruitment:  manage the end-to-end recruitment process for very senior and sensitive roles, working with top stakeholders including the Vice-Chancellor and Senior Executives
Advisory and Consulting:  provide strategic advice and project management services to the University Executive, ensuring recruitment strategies are aligned with business goals
Service Model Evolution:  continuously improve the Senior Talent Acquisition service model to meet the dynamic needs of the University
Global Talent Sourcing:  develop innovative sourcing techniques to attract top global talent in a competitive landscape
Leadership:  establish and maintain an effective team structure, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Continuous Improvement:  promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring high standards of operational excellence and compliance.
About you
postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
extensive experience in senior executive recruitment within a large, complex organisation
exceptional client relationship management, strategic thinking, and a proactive, resilient mindset
proven leadership skills with the ability to drive successful performance and continuous improvement
strong team and people management skills, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
