Our
Private Business Tax team in Perth
is expanding and we're looking for a
Manager or Senior Manager
to join our vast community of solvers. The Private Business Tax team specializes in providing comprehensive tax services tailored to privately owned businesses. They focus on delivering strategic tax planning and compliance solutions to optimize tax positions and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
This opportunity will give you exposure to clients across a wide range of industries, including infrastructure, utilities and resource, property, financial services (funds management, private equity, venture capital), tech, manufacturing, consumer services, and retail. You'll support them through all stages of their business life cycle, from growth to succession/exit, developing solutions for complex problems at each stage.
You'll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax advice.
Developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize clients' tax positions and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Ensuring all tax filings and compliance requirements are met accurately and on time for clients.
Identifying and mitigating tax-related risks for clients, ensuring they are aware of potential issues and solutions.
Identifying opportunities for expanding services with existing clients and attracting new clients to the firm.
Staying updated on the latest tax laws and regulations, and providing insights and training to the team and clients.
Overseeing multiple client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Conducting detailed financial analysis to support tax planning and decision-making processes.
Working closely with other departments, such as audit and advisory, to provide comprehensive services to clients.
Working with clients across a wide range of industries including property, transport, mining, and medical through all stages of their business life cycle, developing solutions for the complex problems that arise in each stage.
Working on complex corporate tax compliance and consulting advice, domestic tax issues including consolidation and restructuring advice, international tax matters, and involvement in M&A transactions (including undertaking tax due diligence and acquisition tax structuring).
