Supporting the Head of Channels and Business Marketing, the Senior Events & Marketing Manager is a pivotal leadership role within the Channels Transformation Business team, responsible for driving strategic marketing initiatives and managing high-impact external events.
This role is responsible for enhancing brand visibility and fostering strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including customers and industry partners, and is accountable for all product marketing strategy, execution, and measurement in BOQ Business and BOQ Finance.
This role collaborates with leaders across the business along with experts in digital, social & content and brand to plan and create marketing and events initiatives that drive key marketing metrics and deliver on the objectives defined in each brand's business plan.

Strategic planning and execution External event management Stakeholder engagement Team leadership Performance measurement Brand growth Customer focus About You You will hold a marketing degree and have strong experience in a similar role. Your expertise spans various marketing disciplines, and you have experience in the banking or financial services industry, particularly in Business or Institutional divisions.
You have a strong understanding of business banking products and are skilled in creating and managing content, as well as managing marketing and event budgets. Additionally, you have strong leadership capabilities.
Our successful candidate will excel at building and maintaining successful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, have strong attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities. You will have experience managing content creation, including campaigns, and have a proven track record in planning and executing campaigns and customer-facing collateral.
You must be able to work effectively with various stakeholders to deliver on priorities and identify opportunities to optimise operating expense budgets for maximum investment.
As a strategic thinker with a passion for marketing and events, you are a self-starter who is highly motivated, can work under pressure, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You are a problem solver with a flexible and adaptable approach, a strong team player, and an excellent communicator.
