In this pivotal role, you'll drive the vision, strategy, and execution of Workforce Solutions sales initiatives across our diverse business entities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategic sales target to meet the businesses annual performance.Research, identify and pursue new business opportunities and prospects as well as maintaining existing accounts.Maintain an effective sales pipeline to continuously drive new business opportunities.Research and undertake marketing campaigns suitable to business needs, and where necessary supervising staff members in completion of tasks.Provide sales management, budget control and incentive planning.The preparation and submission of proposals, tenders, and service quotations.Manage and prepare to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.Provide sales reports and other analysis reports relating to sales, volumes and costs.Build a sales team based on opportunities within industry segments to develop sales plans and strategies.Create and implement effective direct sales strategies and lead direct reports towards achievements of KPI's & Corporate Sales Objectives.Have a positive attitude, motivate and promote a high-performance positive team environment.To be successful in this role, you will have the following: Previous experience in the Rail industry.Proven track record in customer retention and growth strategies.Strong business acumen and a focus on commercial outcomes to enhance team profitability.Genuine desire to build new business.Capability to achieve and report on KPI's based on activity and business growth.In-depth knowledge of industry, markets, competitors, and opportunities.Effective task prioritisation and time management skills, particularly under pressure.Corporate presentation and communication skills.Experience managing a high performance sales team.Understanding of contract labour, recruitment, apprenticeships, and traineeships.Understanding of Funding opportunities both State and Federal.Previous experience with reporting in a multi-faceted organisation.We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and value diversity in our workforce, recognising and valuing all people who bring their own unique backgrounds, capabilities, experiences and characteristics to work.
