Senior Manager, Infrastructure Safety and WellnessAs the Senior Manager, Infrastructure Safety and Wellness, you will lead the implementation of health, safety, and wellness strategies across a large Property and Facilities division.
This role ensures compliance with safety regulations and risk management standards for construction, maintenance, and infrastructure activities.
You will provide expert advice on safety practices, mentor teams, and drive a positive safety culture.
Key responsibilities include overseeing safety compliance, implementing HSW programs, conducting audits, and managing incident investigations.
The position also involves working closely with senior leadership to align HSW strategies with organisational goals and engaging with regulators to maintain legal compliance.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing safety in complex environments, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to influence safety practices across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to align HSW policies and procedures with organisational goals, providing expert advice across construction, infrastructure, and facilities management.Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with safety regulations for all construction and maintenance activities, offering guidance on safety systems and contractor management.Team Leadership: Mentor staff and managers to build a strong safety culture, oversee WHS representatives, and facilitate safety training and inductions across teams.Program Management: Design and implement local HSW programs, conduct audits, and manage incident investigations to enhance overall safety performance.Compliance & Risk Management: Stay ahead of regulatory requirements, engage with regulators, and ensure that all safety and wellness initiatives comply with legal standards.About You: Qualifications: Post-graduate qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
