Sydney(preferred)How will I help? This role sits within Business & Wealth Commercial Banking, as a Senior Manager, Industry Specialist you will play a critical role in formulating, communicating and executing the Business Bank's Strategy to achieve Westpac Group's ambitious goals.
You will translate Westpac Group's aspirations into Business Bank's objectives & strategies.
Shape strategic objectives & strategies / set strategic direction for Business Bank, in alignment with Group.
Industry leads set the strategic direction of the industries.
You will collaborate closely with the broader Strategy & Experience Team (Customer Advocacy, Banker Transformation) to shape & execute on the strategies.
Enable and collaborate with SGMs, NGMs, and frontline Bankers to bring the strategies to life.
Key Accountabilities: Identify opportunities for new or improved propositions and experiences through deep understanding of customer needs and customer & banker feedback.Cross-functional stakeholder management and collaboration to co-develop compelling propositions across the end-to-end customer journey, and drive to implementation.Scope, design and test new and/or improved customer experiences through the application of customer insights and testing, understanding needs, behaviours and attitudes delivering improved customer satisfaction.Manage profitability, working closely with stakeholders in the business to drive sustainable growth.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry innovations to identify opportunities for digital transformation within the life insurance sector.What's in it for me? What do I need? Relevant industry experience, and market knowledge.An innovative problem solver who excels at making the complex simple, and the simple compelling.Strong understanding and experience in utilising customer insights, data and market research to inform proposition development.Excellent ability to create high-quality quantitative analysis and written materials for presentation to senior management.Strong commercial and financial acumen with a strong risk mindset.Project management skills.Ability to utilise effective influencing and negotiation skills and stakeholder management to deliver key initiatives to drive business outcomes.What is it like to work there?
