WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead a deployed engineering and technical team to architect, plan and execute field test and demonstration activities for an Autonomous Underwater Vessel (AUV) development program.Continuously drive test campaign progress by adjusting schedule and scope to manage real world effects, consulting with Platform and Payloads Engineering teams.Provide technical guidance and direction to the deployed team, including tasking, planning and reporting.Oversee emergent in-field troubleshoot and repairs, escalating to Platform or Payload engineering teams for support as required.Engage with customer representatives to provide visibility of test planning and progress, and suitability of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) generation.Chair internal and external Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and provide input to structured periodic reviews (PDR, CDR, MRR).Specify, identify and establish temporary and enduring test facilities, including regulatory considerations, approvals and compliance.Conduct risk assessments for test and related operations, identifying and implementing mitigations.Liaise with the Field Operations Technical Project Manager to plan and schedule test activities and resources.Coordinate with the Product Lifecycle Lead to ensure parts, paper people coincide as needed to conduct sustainment activities.Contribute to the Field Operations and Sustainment Leadership Team.Be in the field 60%+ of the time, supporting nearshore and offshore testing.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES 10+ years experience in systems engineering, integration and testing, including developmental test and evaluation.Experience in field test and operationally focused environments.Bachelor (or higher) of Engineering in mechanical, electrical or other relevant discipline.Experience with subsea operational procedures and equipment (including AUV launch and recovery systems) is advantageous, as is vehicle level testing (any domain).Knowledge of electro-mechanical troubleshooting and ability to use basic test equipment.Comfort being deployed/offshore for extended periods of time.Extremely organized and detail-oriented.A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture.Experience with vehicle level testing, subsea experience is a plus.Ability to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security Clearance.Anduril is an equal-opportunity employer, and we encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
