Senior Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Senior Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion - Sydney Office - Permanent Full Time Who We Are
We're working to shine a light on all things property. Our business is built around connecting the steps throughout the property journey to create a better experience for people. We call it the property marketplace, and it's driven by our data.
As we change the way people engage with property, we need diverse thinkers to help us. So even if you don't meet 100% of the following criteria, we'd love you to apply anyway.
About the Role
Are you ready to take the lead in driving sustainable, systemic change? This is not a light-touch role – it's about building DEI from the ground up, engaging with everyone from frontline staff to executives, and making the case for transformative change. If you're passionate about driving gender equity, fostering an inclusive workplace, and embedding DEI into every part of the employee lifecycle, we want to hear from you.
In this newly created position, reporting to the Head of People Experience, you will be the driving force behind our DEI transformation. You'll design and execute strategies that focus on building a business case for change and working across the organisation to influence, educate, and ensure measurable outcomes. Your focus will be broad –starting with gender equity and building on our progress so far in Reconciliation and LGBTQIA+ inclusion, as well as forging new ground on the DEI agenda – all with a focus on integration across recruitment, performance, rewards, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic DEI Leadership : Shape and deliver a comprehensive DEI strategy with a major focus on gender equity, ensuring alignment with business objectives to drive systemic change across all areas of the employee lifecycle—attraction, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and rewards.
Deep Dive into Gender Equity : Lead the charge on gender equity initiatives, including developing a plan for the first six months that identifies quick wins and lays out a roadmap for long-term execution.
Stakeholder Engagement : Engage and influence senior leaders and executives to drive DEI. You'll need to hustle and be able to demonstrate how DEI contributes to the bottom line.
Build Systems for Change : Develop the levers to pull that integrate DEI into core systems. Whether through compliance, performance processes, or reward structures, you'll ensure DEI is not just a standalone initiative but part of Domain's DNA.
D&I Roadmap : Drive broader programs that work to advance Gender equity, Reconciliation Action Plans and neurodiversity initiatives, expanding our DEI footprint into every corner of the business.
Metrics and Accountability : Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. You will regularly report to leadership on the progress of DEI initiatives, ensuring transparency and accountability.
What We're Looking For
Deep Experience in Gender Equity : You have a proven track record of crafting and executing gender equity strategies that deliver tangible outcomes.
Stakeholder Management : Ability to engage with and influence senior leadership to drive strategic DEI outcomes, with the confidence to build business cases.
Strategic and Systems Thinking : You know how to think big but also how to operationalise your vision into systems that drive lasting change.
Diverse DEI Expertise : Experience in neurodiversity, RAPs, and other areas of diversity and inclusion is essential to ensure our DEI strategy covers every part of our workforce.
Change Agent : Proven ability to drive change in organisations with an appetite for DEI but lacking in-depth knowledge. You bring the expertise and strategic thinking to build a sustainable DEI framework.
