About the role The Senior Manager Digital Infrastructure is responsible for the provision and operation of secure, fit-for-purpose digital Infrastructure to support UNE's current and future operations.
The occupant of this role provides authoritative advice, direction and guidance to UNE on all matters pertaining to Digital Infrastructure and achieves continuous improvement in the delivery of those services through leadership, technical expertise, financial and business acumen, risk identification and management, and execution of operational functions.
About you To be successful in this role, you will have: A deep understanding of Digital Infrastructure and how it is used to facilitate UNE successfully achieving its operational business goals, with experience in the delivery of secure, fit-for-purpose Digital Infrastructure.
You will also have the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders of the University and on behalf of the University with external consultants and service providers.
About Technology and Digital Services Technology and Digital Services provide information and digital systems and services to the whole of UNE to support all IT activities within UNE.
It provides knowledge and leadership to support the academic, research and service activities of the University by deploying technology services, either centrally or dispersed, across the University.
The Directorate works closely with the university community to understand and support their needs in meeting the university's strategic objectives.
