The Opportunity This role reports to the Head of Content Experience & Operations. The Senior Content Design Manager will lead a team of Principal Content Designers and Content Design Managers to develop and implement strategies and standards that drive content consistency and quality across Bupa APAC digital channels.
This person will lead the content design team to manage and evolve ways in which content designers work at Bupa.
This is a permanent full-time position, based in our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office. (Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home)
How You'll make an impact As Senior Content Design Manager within the Digital Health Insurance team, you'll help shape the next chapter in how our customers interact digitally with Bupa - to provide them healthier, happier lives. The Senior Content Design Manager is critical to building a sustainable world-class design capability.
You will add value by: Content design strategy & leadership: Provide strategic guidance and insights to support key digital and business initiatives across Bupa.Content design practice delivery: Lead both marketing and product-focused content design teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration across Bupa's Health Insurance and Connected Care divisions.Content design excellence: Utilize your expertise in user-centered content design, content modeling, and SEO to create digital content that is clear, concise, and highly effective.ContentOps leadership: Continuously refine content design processes to boost scalability, efficiency, and the overall quality of our digital assets.Resource management and planning: Ensure the right talent is allocated to key projects, aligning headcount and skills with business priorities for seamless execution.What will you bring? 10+ years of experience in user-centered content design or a related field.4+ years of hands-on experience with content modeling and CaaS ecosystems.Expertise in managing distributed authoring models and publishing personalized content at scale, ensuring it aligns with content guidelines and quality standards.Proficiency with enterprise CMS platforms such as Sitecore or Adobe Experience Cloud.Experience working with design systems, design thinking, human-centered design, system thinking, experience design, and UX research.Familiarity with lean processes and agile ways of working.Strong knowledge of content design systems, strategy, planning, information architecture, and SEO.A good understanding of API ecosystems (business, content, and platform).Join Bupa's forward-thinking digital team and be a key driver of innovation in content design!
