Job Description PermanentSydney location preferred, open to Melbourne. Hybrid Office (2-3 days)Varied & interesting risk role working across a broad range of stakeholders. How will I help?

As a Senior Manager, you will report to the Executive Manager, Risk Maturity and Risk Culture to proactively identify, manage, mitigate, and monitor risks for the Consumer Division through key risk management programs. This includes developing risk profiles, supporting return to appetite plans, evaluating risk management framework and risk culture assessments, and delivering recommendations for risk management and risk culture uplift opportunities.

You will use your strong stakeholder management skills and extensive risk management framework experience to work within a team of risk professionals who support the Consumer Division in risk and control identification through managing risk priorities, obligations, and identifying areas which require uplift. With strong business acumen and the tools to develop and embed risk concepts, you will bring a customer-oriented focus and enjoy working with a macro risk landscape.

What do I need?

You will have extensive Risk Management Framework experience (5 - 7 years +) together with a strong risk management background within a Financial Services environment. With demonstrated experience in developing and embedding risk concepts and tools, you will list strategic planning, execution and organisational skills as key strengths. You will have excellent communication skills, written & oral, that allow you to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholder level and promote a strong risk culture. Previous experience in a Consumer Line of Business will be highly regarded.
