Senior Management Accountant

Our client, a prominent player in the engineering, construction, and utilities industries, has a proven track record of success through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions. As they expand their services into new markets, they are seeking top talent to drive their ambitious goals forward.

They are currently looking for a seasoned Management Accountant to join their team on an initial nine-month contract, with a high potential for extension or a permanent position.

The Opportunity

In this role, you'll report directly to the Financial Controller and be responsible for:
Delivering timely and precise management accounts and project reports, including journal entries. Conducting in-depth analysis of operating performance, providing insights and recommendations to management. Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements on key projects. Assisting with the preparation of comprehensive budgets and forecasts. Enhancing financial processes and systems for greater efficiency. Empowering project managers with the knowledge to interpret reports and uncover opportunities for added value. About you 

To be successful in this role, you'll need solid experience as a Management Accountant within a medium to large organization. While experience in fast-paced, complex environments such as mining, infrastructure, or related industries is preferred, it's not a deal-breaker.

You should be adaptable, ready to take on various tasks, and eager to collaborate across different teams when needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, helping you forge effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
